More rambling about the raid
Well, as I had posted earlier, we had some tough times in our raid.
This now seems to be the time where we have to face our problems again…
At first I want to say that I’m quite proud with our raid most of the time (like when we are killing Vashj) and some other times I totally don’t like it at all (like when we are chain-wiping at Vashj).
Some of the main problems are that several people in the raid aren’t giving their best, are far too lazy, or are just complete jerks. They don’t do as they are told, don’t read strategys for bosses, don’t have consumables or just do shit when we’re attempting the bosses. And we (meaning the officers) have absolutely no clue why they do so.
We’re currently sitting at SSC clear, 3/4 TK and 2/5 Hyjal while raiding together like this since February this year, so about 6 months now. If all the people would be ready, would do their best for the raid and stuff I’m sure we would at least be wiping on Archimonde and not on the trash leading to Anetheron (or himself), but that’s one big problem of ours: reliability.
Just to show you what I mean here’s our filing list for tomorrow, our first scheduled run into Black Temple:
As you can clearly see we have far too many druids (normally we _should_ only take three of them, and not like five) and by far not enough mages and other stuff, and, sad as it sounds, our other raid schedules look nearly the same all the time, nearly enough people that file in and even less that show up for invite on the raid days.
Another big setback is that our mage class leader left the raid to get into one with his guild (one of the most progressed on our realm) which leaves us with another good player less for the upcoming stuff.
If it stays this way, I’m not sure we can hold the raid together, or if other people will follow those who leave, or if all the people will actually pull themselves together and commit all they can to the raid so we might be able to face Illidan before Wrath hits end of the year.
